Qarkullimi në rrugët shtetërore zhvillohet pa probleme, në rrugë kryesisht të thata. Intensiteti i trafikut në rrugët jashtë zonave urbane është rritur. Në vendkalimet kufitare “Tabanoc” dhe “Bogorodica” pritet rreth 30 minuta për hyrje dhe dalje nga vendi. Në pikat e tjera kufitare nga ana e Maqedonisë nuk ka më ndalime për hyrje dhe dalje nga vendi.

Lidhja Auto Moto e Maqedonisë (LAMM) rekomandon respektim të sinjalistikës në komunikacion dhe menaxhim të kujdesshëm të automjeteve, veçanërisht në rrugët nëpër lugina dhe gryka, ku ka mundësi për rrëshqitje të dheut. Kjo vlen veçanërisht për segmentet Katllanovë – Veles, Mavrovë – Dibër – Strugë, Vinicë – Berovë dhe Koçan – Dellçevë.
